Welcome to my Website.

Hi I'm Steve Panitzke and as you've probably guessed  I own a Panther Motorcycle.
It's a 1957 Panther Model 10/3.

Lot's of information is available about Panther Motorcycles and their makers Phelon and Moore of Cleckheaton , Yorkshire on the Official Panther Owners Club website, of which I'm a member and I can highly recommend them. I have never met a nicer bunch of people with such well organised social gatherings and excellent knowledge of their motorcycles.

What you haven't got a Panther?  Not even got a Motorcycle? Doesn't Matter! Just Join!
You will be made Welcome whatever!!

I often turn up on my Harley Davidson Sportster, especially if there is a hill involved and nobody bats an eyelid.
Why? The 10/3 has a 197 cc Villiers two stroke engine with a 3 speed gearbox
and if there is a bit of an incline,  two of the three gears are redundant !

So what's this website all about?

When you think of Panthers you probably conjure up an image of a single cylinder 600 / 650 cc four stroke, low revving and with enough grunt to pull a tractor. These are referred to by the Club as Heavyweights. Lightweights are 250 / 350 / 500 cc single cylinder four strokes.

The Club has amassed an enormous amount of information on the above two so my website concentrates mainly on the Villiers engine variants.

Have Fun.......
